STARTERS: Early 2015 speculations

Our final column of the 2014 regular season will look at early 2015 speculation targets among starting pitchers.

Here are a bunch of guys in each league who are worth putting on your radar now because they are likely to be overlooked in 2015 drafts.

AMERICAN LEAGUE

Trevor Bauer (RHP, CLE) has shown solid skills when pitching from a full windup: 9.8 Dom, 3.4 Ctl, 37% GB%, 98 BPV. His command evaporates while throwing from the stretch, possibly a reflection of his complicated mechanics: 7.3 Dom, 4.2 Ctl, 32% GB%, 27 BPV. There's still top-tier upside here, but it's likely that you'll continue to need a bench with him in 2015.
