First, let's set some baselines. Here were the aggregate stats and skills posted by starting pitchers in May 2022, segregated by league:

The aggregate skills for starting pitchers were unchanged from April, but they still confirm the correlation between BPV and surface stats like ERA and WHIP. Starters with a 100+ BPV in May had a 3.39 ERA and 1.13 WHIP on average. Those with a sub-100 BPV posted a 4.58 ERA and 1.35 WHIP.
