AMERICAN LEAGUE

Shane Baz (RHP, BAL) seems to be an intriguing pitcher at this time every season. His in-season inconsistency has prevented him from reaching his ceiling. He gets a fresh start with the Orioles. Baz is coming off a rough second half with the Rays (5.47 ERA, 1.43 WHIP), but his swinging strike rate jumped considerably (+2.5% SwK%), helping his skills go from average (88 BPV in 1H) to impactful (120 BPV in 2H).
