Spring arms to follow, 2024

With spring training upon us and games around the corner, let's take a closer look at some pitchers that are worth following in the spring due to the strong skills they have flashed in the past or because of their prospect pedigree.
 

AMERICAN LEAGUE

Shane Baz (RHP, TAM) looked like a future rotation fixture late in 2022 and into that post-season, when he featured swing-and-miss raw stuff (14% SwK%) and improved strike-throwing consistency. He'll be nearly 18 months removed from Tommy John surgery at the end of spring. The Rays will bring him along slowly, which could make him a nice profit play in 2024 drafts.
