In New York, Clay Holmes (RHP, NYY) is on the IL for a minor problem and a reset. Over the past 30 days, the save chances have been split evenly between Scott Effross (RHP, NYY), Lou Trivino (RHP, NYY) and Clarke Schmidt (RHP, NYY) at two apiece with none going to Aroldis Chapman (LHP, NYY). But with Holmes now officially out (instead of just having lost it when pitching), and the team losing games in bunches, everything feels very fluid right now.
