RELIEVERS: Ten fluid closer roles

This week, the column runs through a handful of fluid bullpen situations starting with Atlanta. The Braves made moves at the trade deadline aimed at improving the bullpen. Then cycled through Shane Greene (RHP, ATL) at closer and then publicly announced Mark Melancon (RHP, ATL) in the role. Since then, Luke Jackson (RHP, ATL) has another save and has been appearing in the ninth inning of games. Here is what the last 30 days tells us:

ATL Sv Hld IP DOM CMD HR/9 xERA BPV Cln/App LI

L.Jackson 4 1 10.0 10.8 1.7 2.7 5.47 51 5/12 1.06
