RELIEVERS: Playing with spreadsheet filters

One of the most powerful tools we have at Baseball HQ is the set of Excel spreadsheets that get daily updates—both in terms of what has occurred this season, and also what is projected to occur across the balance of the season. If you take the appropriate spreadsheet and filter these outcomes and projections to fit your league, you can make better decisions in real time. And it doesn't take all that much work.

Taking the data set from Wednesday, this column just goes with some simple filters against the Excel spreadsheet for pitchers from both leagues' results year-to-date and projections to help us look at an appropriate list of relievers. The filters for the results year-to-date are: BF/G under 10.0 (so just relievers); at least 10.0...
