Spotlight: Junior Caminero

Junior Caminero (3B, TB) is Breaking Out

Caminero teased us with his 8.5% barrel per plate appearance rate and 116.3 mph maximum exit velocity in 2024 across 177 plate appearances. It can be risky to project data from a small sample into a larger one, but Caminero’s power is legitimate. He has been drastically outperforming his power skills, evidenced by his PX compared to his xPX. However, the main issue seems to be the launch angles and consistencies.
