Byron Buxton is the perpetual tease. The former top prospect owns elite athleticism that gives him true multi-category potential, but he has never been able to fulfill his upside over the long haul due to a combination of injuries and subpar pitch recognition.
But prior to his recent hip injury, Buxton was turning those tools into results:
