Pedroia posts strong BA despite thumb woes…Proving that he’s not Superman, injuries sometimes slow Dustin Pedroia (2B, BOS). When he played through injuries in the early part of 2012, his numbers suffered. While he’s now dealing with a tear of the ulnar collateral ligament in his left thumb, he’s had no trouble hitting for high BA in the first half.
