Encarnacion shows May power….At the end of April, Edwin Encarnación (1B, TOR) had only two home runs. Since he was coming off September wrist surgery, some fast-twitch owners decided to drop or trade him. If you resisted the temptation, you were amply awarded: Encarnacion tied (with some guy named Mantle) the AL record for homers in May.
