As has been discussed in this space for the past two weeks, it's very early in the season to focus on production alone to evaluate players. However, owners will soon have enough information to work with to determine roster strengths and weaknesses as a whole.
For those owners that find their rosters lacking in speed, the temptation may be to simply cherry-pick players using the SB leaderboard. Rather than chase those players that have run out in front of the pack early on, this week's column presents a better alternative.
