When a player squeaks a dribbler through the infield, he'll often be told by a teammate "It'll look like a line drive in the boxscore." While players can draw comfort from the vague nature of the scorebook, fantasy owners have tools at their disposal to look deeper. Batted ball results can obscure the true quality of the contact being made for a while, but it's more instructive to look at which players are making hard contact most often. HctX or Hard Contact Index allows owners to do just that.
