BATTERS: Bad Spring Breaks

Adjusting for injuries during the season and scouring the waiver wire for talent can go a long way to determining a fantasy owner's success. This year, however, a rash of spring injuries left many owners with positions to fill and production to replace even before Opening Day. Even for those owners that drafted their DL'd player(s) prior to the actual injury, there is hope.

While talent available via waivers tends to thin out over the course of the season, right now there is plenty of unclaimed value in many leagues.
