The Angels and pitching issues have been a valid key value pair for a long time. The team has spent a lot of money on the issue over the last decade or so, with little to show for it. Part of the issue has been a lack of development of their internal guys, but now they have a guy who could be a part of the long-term solution. José Soriano is far from a finished product, but he has flashed components of being a guy who could be a #3 starter or better at some point soon with some adjustments.
