MINORS: Next year's hot prospects—The 2016 List

Two years ago we presented a method of using baseball statistics to find up-and-coming prospects who were not yet on the Top 100 list or written up by many touts. Last year a follow-up article was published. The idea was that although in-person scouting always comes first, in deeper and dynasty leagues you might have to speculate on youngsters before they get written up. By using excellent results on the field to guide us, we can get early hints of emerging talent. In the previous two seasons, we identified several interesting names who later made our own HQ100 list—or even made it to the majors.
