It’s been a minute since part one of the “HQ100 ranking to future ADP” series dropped on May 28th. To refresh your memory on this project, I collected 20 years of HQ100 prospect lists. Then, I collected NFBC ADPs from the past 5 years (2016-2020). Now, I’m taking the prospect data and cross-referencing the ADPs to see how prospect ranking correlated.
In part 1, I looked at overall number 1 prospects, the prospect pedigree of 1st round ADPs and how aspects such as size, organization & predicting maturation may have dinged prospect status of future fantasy stars.
Today, the enormity of part 2 will focus on the prospect pedigree of Top 120 ADP pitching and how we can do better projecting pitchers to future...
