The White Sox organization has gone from one of the weaker farm systems in baseball to one of the top 5 systems in the game. Built mainly through trades with other organizations, Chicago has improved the overall talent level in the organization and the depth of potential MLB players. Unfortunately, when the White Sox’s Double-A team Birmingham came to town last week, most of the top players were playing with different affiliates. Eloy Jiménez, who was expected to break camp with Birmingham, was kept back in extended spring training due to a mild strain of his left pectoral muscle. Without Jimenez, the star power was gone. However, there were still interesting guys all around the Birmingham roster. Let’s meet a few of them.
