MINORS: The Eyes Have It—Taj Bradley & Cole Wilcox

Since 2018, I’ve helped an organization with prep coverage in NW Georgia and SE Tennessee. While these exercises have been educational, the biggest thing I’ve taken away from these experiences is the trust in my process. Sure, I get guys wrong sometimes. However, scouting at its purest form, I’ve been on guys who have popped up. Earlier this year, on an episode of the EHI podcast, I talked about Logan Workman (RHP, TAM), a guy who I believe is a future MLB hurler out of a Division II program, who I identified first for the team I birddog for (not the Rays). In this day and age, it’s hard to be first on a guy as a birddog scout because coverage of the preps is so extensive.
