MINORS: The Eyes have it—Prospect notebook (Hitters)

Let the off-season begin! This season, I traveled 3500 miles by car and 1400 miles by air covering prospects. At the risk of sounding like the Johnny Cash song "I've Been Everywhere," I covered baseball in big cities, like Atlanta, Miami and Nashville, and also in small towns, such as Kodak, TN and Emerson, GA. My most memorable trip was meeting up with BaseballHQ.com GM Brent Hershey at the Futures Game. My least memorable trip was rushing back home from Jekyll Island, Ga to see Phillies pitcher Sixto Sánchez get scratched from a late July start. Such is life for a prospect writer.

For the last installment of the Eyes Have It series this season, I'm scraping my scouting notebook dry in an attempt to not leave any hitting prospects...

Almost!
