MINORS: The Eyes have it—Carter Kieboom, Sheldon Neuse, Anderson Franco

The Washington Nationals have an underrated farm system. While the upper levels have been thinned out by trades and promotions, the lower levels are extremely rich with talent. With Single-A Hagerstown coming south for a May series in Rome, it afforded me an opportunity to scout the deepest South Atlantic League lineup in recent memory. A scout could easily tag future MLB grades on eight different hitters. Unfortunately, Hagerstown's top prospect, outfielder Juan Soto, injured his ankle earlier in the month and was on the disabled list for the series.
