With the first pick in the June amateur MLB draft, the Minnesota Twins select... Fans and fantasy owners wait patiently for the player pool to expand with new and interesting toys from the MLB Draft, which begins Monday night, June 12. In March, the "Eyes have it" series profiled four prospects likely to be drafted in the first two rounds, including the likely first pick of the draft, Vanderbilt RHP Kyle Wright (Scouting report). Since then, I've stayed glued to the pro-side. Other than a mid-April trip down to Georgia Tech to scout the University of Louisville, it's been Single-A and Double-A ballparks for me. Still, I've been saving my last three reports for this week's edition.
