In order to provide some depth to the middle innings, the Dodgers recalled the 29-year-old from Triple-A. His stint in the majors could be a short one. Ravin has pitched in 19 games with Los Angeles since 2015 and has posted a 3.79 ERA with 25 strikeouts in 19 innings. The tall righty was converted to a reliever in 2012 and has found success with registering strikeouts with his plus fastball. His heater sits in the 95-98 mph range and can bump triple digits on occasion. He also uses a hard slider that he struggles to command. Ravin’s lack of control has been a concern...
