The White Sox will recall the 23-year-old from Triple-A and he’ll make his first major league start in the doubleheader on Monday, Aug. 21. Fulmer was in the majors for 11.2 innings in 2016, all out of the bullpen. Chicago decided to test him in the rotation in Triple-A despite limited success as a starter. Since he was the eighth overall pick in the 2015 draft and has a very valuable arm, he has been given every opportunity to succeed.
