Doing their best to channel the 2017 Padres who carried multiple Rule 5 picks without a lick of reps above Single-A, the 2026 White Sox took Paez in this year's Rule 5 draft with all of 84 IP at high Single-A. In the 6'1", 170-Paez's defense, his plus control gives him a fighting chance to actually make something like this work, though the quality of his 91-mph sinker will likely make...
