Necessity often breeds innovation.
The primary challenge in this year's Baseball Forecaster was shaping our 2021 analyses around a minuscule 60-game season. One of the more popular wrinkles in this year's book was the new "19 2H+20" line in player boxes, which combines the second half of 2019 with all of 2020 to mimic the most recent full season (-ish) of games.
But with an expanded postseason, there were enough October games to move the needle for certain players as well. So in the 2021 debut of the Speculator, we'll combine the 2020 regular season and postseason ("Reg+Post") to see what we can glean.
The obvious example here is Randy Arozarena (OF, TAM), who set postseason records for hits (29 in 77 AB) and home runs (10)...
