SPECULATOR: Checking in on the 2012 rookie class

Late June makes an excellent time of year to check in on the progress of our 2012 rookie class. Rather than just assessing their performance to date, in this exercise we are more interested in recasting their longer-term potential in light of what we have seen from them so far. As you'll see below, we have something of a hyper-focus on walks and strikeouts (for both hitters and pitchers) in measuring them at this early stage.

Hitters

Yoenis Céspedes (OF, OAK)
What we've seen: In between a couple of injuries, Cespedes has flashed both the power (139 PX) and speed (4 SB despite only an 85 Spd score) that made him such a desired commodity this past winter.
