We are always looking for an advantage as we prepare for our drafts. BaseballHQ.com counsels us to focus on underlying skills, not on surface stats. We also recognize that some stats used in fantasy league scoring are influenced by luck. Examples include ERA and wins for pitchers. Therefore, we look at stats such as xERA, Dom, and Cmd to better gauge underlying skills, which will normally translate to better scoring stats in the long run.
