Welcome, BABS

Today, we welcome a new face (and a familiar one!) to BaseballHQ.com.

The new face is BABS, an acronym for the Broad Assessment Balance Sheet, a draft-planning tool that up until now was housed at BABSBaseball.com. BABS, in a nutshell, is a risk-management drafting device designed to set up fantasy teams for success. Many have been using BABS since its inception in 2016 and have found it helpful in limiting overexposure to risk in the draft process. 

As most BABS users know, the familiar face is Ron Shandler, BABS’ creator and founder of this very site. Since he officially turned BaseballHQ over to us (10 years ago this coming spring; man, time flies), Ron has both been off doing his own thing, and at the same time never far away from...
