Injury: Strained right hamstring – grade 1
DL date: June 25
Estimated DL time: The Red Sox believe Pedroia’s injury isn’t that severe, and they debated whether he should go on the DL or not. He’ll be back in 15-18 days.
Nori Aoki (OF, SF)
Injury: Fractured right fibula
DL date: June 21
Estimated DL time: The initial tests done on his fibula did not reveal a fracture, suggesting the fracture is small in nature. He also is lucky it’s the fibula and not the weight-bearing tibia. He’ll be in a cast for at least 14 days, and Aoki is likely to miss at least four weeks.
Jered Weaver (RHP, LAA)
Injury: Inflammation left hip
DL date: June 21
Estimated DL time: He is in shutdown mode for five days then he’ll resume light...
