Injury: Sprained left foot
DL date: August 2
Estimated DL time: Craig suffered a Lisfranc fracture last year to the same foot. This time it appears to be just a ligament issue and supposedly is not related to last year’s problems. If it would be, surgery would be an option that could delay his 2015 season.
Estimated 2014 effect upon return: Even if he returns in 2014, his playing time will be limited as not to aggravate his left foot.
Matt Garza (RHP, MIL)
Injury: Strained left oblique
DL date: August 4
Estimated DL time: Last year he spent two months on the disabled list with a grade 2 strained left latissimus dorsi (lat for short) muscle. His current injury is an oblique injury and is not related to...
