Tyler Glasnow is out for a couple of months at least, and possibly much longer, with a forearm strain and a partial tear of his ulnar collateral ligament (UCL). He blames the injury on grip changes he was forced to make when he stopped using a sunscreen/rosin mix to improve his grip: "I had to put my fastball deeper into my hand and grip it way harder… I'm choking the s--- out of all my pitches."

Major League Baseball recently announced it would suspend for 10 games any pitcher caught using a foreign substance, beginning on June 21. Glasnow claims he's a victim of this mid-season change, having to adjust his grip on the fly: "Do it in the offseason. Give us a chance to adjust to it. But I just threw 80...
