With trade rumors now swirling, Chase Headley (3B, SD) is making a decent audition for potential buyers at this year's deadline. Headley is hitting .292 over the last month (.264 xBA), and the mini-surge may make him a more attractive trade piece for the club later this month. Headley's $30+ season in 2012 is now a distant memory, especially considering the fact he hasn't eclipsed $20 in value in any other season in his career. Headley has posted poor skills on the whole this season (74% ct%, .243 xBA, 7 BPV), but his 127 xPX hints at some power potential—especially if he would be dealt to a hitter-friendly park.
