The season surely hasn't started as hoped for Zack Godley (RHP, ARI), who sports an unsightly 7.58 ERA through his first 6 starts, failing to make it past the fourth inning in either of his last two outings. Given the performance to date, it wasn’t terribly surprising to see the team bump him from the rotation, leaving a few options to consider for the vacant spot.

The most interesting candidate is Jon Duplantier (RHP, ARI), the team’s #1 prospect and #59 on the HQ100. As noted in the 2019 Minor League Baseball Analyst, Duplantier owns swing-and-miss stuff with four quality pitches, including a fastball that can touch 98 mph, albeit with some mild control concerns given his long arm action.
