An April foot injury to Mark Trumbo (OF, ARI) has given Cody Ross (OF, ARI) an everyday opportunity in the Arizona outfield. Ross, who rehabbed all offseason from a hip injury himself, has failed to capitalize on the opportunity, as he's hitting just .195 with one HR and a .494 OPS through 77 AB. The skills haven't been pretty either—his 73% ct% and 48/69 PX/xPX don't paint an optimistic picture for a turnaround.

The latest reports on Trumbo have him back with the club in June, so Ross' window to impress the club is shrinking fast. A.J. Pollock IV (OF, ARI) is locked in at CF everyday, so the biggest beneficiary of Trumbo's return—besides Trumbo himself—might be Gerardo Parra (OF, ARI). Parra is off to an excellent...
