A pair of starters in the Colorado rotation are struggling mightily so far in 2014. Jhoulys Chacín (RHP, COL) has a 5.51 ERA through his first six starts, and poor skills (1.3 Cmd, 4.92 xERA, -2 BPV) don't give much hope for a rebound any time soon. Chacin dealt with shoulder problems heading into 2014, so perhaps it's lingering. Franklin Morales (LHP, COL) has actually fared worse with a 6.03 ERA and 1.58 WHIP through 63 IP thus far. His poor start has led to a demotion to Colorado's bullpen just this week. With fellow starters Brett Anderson (LHP, COL) and Tyler Chatwood (RHP, COL) out for the foreseeable future due to injury, the club could likely turn to their farm system for help, especially with Super Two...
