It will be interesting to see how the Marlins manage their young starting rotation over the remainder of the season. Of the current starters, only Henderson Alvarez (RHP, MIA) and Tom Koehler (RHP, MIA) have ever logged more than 160 IP in a season.

Nathan Eovaldi (RHP, MIA) has topped out at 154.1 IP back in 2012 and threw just 127 innings last year. Heading into his August 13 start against the Cardinals, he had 151 IP under his belt.

Jarred Cosart (RHP, MIA) logged 153 IP last year and has thrown 128.2 innings so far this season.

Brad Hand (LHP, MIA) was on the mound for 152 innings back in 2012, but threw just 110.1 innings in 2013. He has already logged 105.2 IP so far in 2014.
