There is no way of sugarcoating that Dansby Swanson (SS, ATL) has been a major hole in the Braves’ lineup. The shortstop has hit below .240 in each of the past four months, bottoming out with a .200 average and a .610 OPS to this point in August. He has tallied three homers since the beginning of July, and he has a total of three steals since the calendar flipped to May. While Swanson still has plenty of long-term potential, his ability to help Atlanta reach the 2018 postseason is very much up for debate right now.
