PT TOMORROW: AL WEST—OF/DH change on tap in HOU

With Michael Brantley's (DH/OF, HOU) imminent return, a HOU OF/DH playing time squeeze has seemingly been on the near-term horizon for a while now. Recovering from right labrum surgery, Brantley began a Triple-A rehab assignment early this week, and is now on a late-April/early-May ETA. Once back in HOU, the left-handed-hitting Brantley had been expected to be the regular DH vR, with Yordan Alvarez moving from a most-of-the-time DH spot to LF. And with Chas McCormick also expected back from the IL (lower back tightness) within the next week, at least one of part-time CF Jake Meyers or bench rookie Corey Julks (OF, HOU) seemed headed for AAA-Sugar Land.
