Last year at this time, the rotation had already begun to unravel, and now it's deja vu all over again. The talent and health behind Yu Darvish were thin prior to his season-ending Tommy John surgery (TJS) announcement—following which, the issues have become glaring. The best—not ideal—option to replace Davish at the top of the rotation is Derek Holland (LHP, TEX), who has yet to make an appearance due to shoulder soreness and is no longer a candidate for the TEX opener. Holland missed all of 2014 due to knee surgery until September, during which his 1.46 ERA, 5.0 Cmd and terrific Ctl over 37 IP hinted at future upside.
