Rookie Jo Adell's (OF, LAA) early promotion surprised for several reasons, the obvious being Mike Trout's faster-than-anticipated return from paternity leave. The likely end of Shohei Ohtani's 2020 rotation effort will result in more AB from the DH spot. And while everyday infield/outfield utility David Fletcher is needed at shortstop now, the reportedly imminent return of Andrelton Simmons from the IL will soon push him elsewhere. So if Adell is up to play, who loses AB?
