Rowdy Tellez (DH, TOR) has taken his demotion to AAA-Buffalo well, it seems. 

In 23 games for Toronto’s top minor league affiliate, Tellez has gone 30-for-82 (.366) with 7 HR. He has struck out in nearly a quarter of his at-bats (24 K), but encouragingly, he has also walked in 13 of his 97 plate appearances. That 13% walk rate is better than double the 6% bb% pace Tellez had been setting in the majors.

Adding a bit of credence to the legitimacy of Tellez’s rejuvenation, AAA-Buffalo’s hitting coach Corey Hart reportedly has addressed “bad habits” Tellez had developed.
