PT TOMORROW: AL East — Bradish the latest young O's starter

The call-up of Kyle Bradish (RHP, BAL) — the subject of speculation in this space not once but twice in this space earlier this month — is now upon us.

Bradish was set to make his debut in the Orioles April 29 game, after the deadline for this column, and fantasy managers may want to pause here to take a quick peek at the box score to see how well he was able to carry forward his success at AAA-Norfolk (2 ER in 15 IP, 17/3 K/BB) against a potentially potent but languishing Red Sox offense.

At least publicly, Bradish has not been promised anything beyond this first start, which has been occasioned at least in part by Baltimore’s lack of other alternatives.
