PT TOMORROW: AL Central—Could Royce Lewis take over at third in MIN when he comes back?

Minnesota Twins

José Miranda (3B, MIN) has suffered through a brutal start to the season, which has ultimately led to a demotion down to Triple-A. He has put up a .220/.275/.318 line through 142 PA and has been particularly bad against right-handed pitching, against whom he has hit .206/.267/.299 in 116 PA. That brings Miranda's career OPS vs. RHP down to .682 across 460 PA.

Kyle Farmer (SS, MIN) is off the IL and expected to share time at third with Willi Castro (OF, MIN) for the time being. Farmer appeared in 36 games at third in 2022, in addition to a few other positions.
