With the emergence of Giovanny Urshela (3B, CLE), Lonnie Chisenhall’s (3B, CLE) future in Cleveland is in doubt. Urshela has been a significant upgrade defensively and has held his own offensively. In his first 79 major league AB, Urshela posted a .266/.318/.354 slash line with two home runs. The 23-year-old hit 18 HR last year between stints in Double-A and Triple-A. His ct% is at 82%, but his career minor league ct% is 87% suggesting limited BA downside.

Chisenhall’s slash line before being demoted was .209/.241/.345. He has more than 1400 career major league plate appearances over five seasons and has not shown consistent improvement trends. His HctX has been below league average and his PX has been right around...
