The infield/ outfield position flexibility afforded by Leury García (OF, CHW) and Danny Mendick (SS, CHW), means that few other bench bats will likely to be needed over the 60-game sprint unless significant injuries (or COVID-19) strike the everyday lineup. 

That said, the 30-man roster provides space for both Nick Delmonico (OF, CHW) and Cheslor Cuthbert (3B, CHW) to squeeze back into the majors for perhaps only the first two weeks of the 2020 season.
