Riley Greene (OF, DET), who has been out since late May because of a stress fracture in his left fibula, kicked off his rehab assignment at Triple-A on Wednesday. He went hitless in his first game but responded with a 5-for-5 showing in his next game, and he looks poised to rejoin the big-league club immediately after the All-Star break.

Greene was scorching hot when he went down with the injury. The 22-year-old posted a .365/.435/.573 line across 108 PA for the month, along with 3 HR and 4 SB. A 48% h% certainly helped and isn't sustainable but his 72% ct% and .297 xBA in May were encouraging steps up from his previous work. 

It remains to be seen if Greene will pick up right where he left off on the bases, considering...
