NL West: Say it ain’t so, Joe

San Diego Padres

For those looking for a Joe Musgrove bounceback in 2026, there might be reason to lower expectations. In a recent interview with the Friar Territory podcast, he acknowledged that expecting him to make 32 starts and pitch 180+ innings in 2026 is simply not realistic. He also reported that he has been slower to recover in the days after he pitches than he’d like to be.
