NL West: Doyle, Jones off to very different starts

The Rockies starting came into the season with vastly different expectations for their LF and CF players based on their 2023 performance. While one has fallen well short of expectations, one has been a welcome surprise in the Rockies lineup.

With a good spring training and expectations he would be the Rockies regular CF due to his defense, second year OF Brenton Doyle became a popular late round draft pick late in draft season. Fantasy managers have been rewarded thus far, with Doyle's breakout season at the plate ranking 19th among OF in 5x5$ through the first month of the season. He has started all but one of the Rockies games in CF and was recently moved up to the second spot in the batting order.
