NL Central: Misiorowski time in MIL?

Milwaukee Brewers

The Brewers will be an interesting team to monitor over the next month or so. They seemed set to run away with NL Central but the Cardinals have closed their lead to only five games (through Sunday). If they can extend that lead, they may be able to turn their focus to fine-tuning the playoff rotation, which is currently uncompelling but could be overhauled.

They’ve already made an effort with an early strike in the trade market by acquiring Aaron Civale (RHP, MIL). Even if Civale turns his season around, there’s at least one rotation spot missing. Perhaps a third starter can emerge, particularly with reinforcements such as DL Hall (LHP, MIL) and Joe Ross (RHP, MIL) nearing a return from the injured list, though...

Almost!
